Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I get driving directions?
Click here for driving directions and a campus map.
Who else is attending the Centennial Celebration event?
Click here for a list of expected attendees.
What is the dress code for the event?
Casual for the picnic and tours. Business casual would be fine for the dinner on Friday evening. Those being recognized at the dinner may prefer to wear business or dressy attire since their pictures may be taken.
Where do I park? How do I get around?
If you are staying at The Penn Stater or The Atherton Hotel, you may park your car in the hotel parking lot and use the ESM Centennial shuttle (click here to see the schedule) to get to the various activities. You also have the option of purchasing a parking permit valid only in the parking lot at the Earth-Engineering Sciences Building. Simply send a note with your name, return address (or the hotel you are staying in if you wish us to leave it at your hotel registration desk), and a check for $4.00 made payable to Penn State to the following address:
Engineering Science and Mechanics
Attn: Cheryl Markley
212 Earth-Engineering Sciences Building
Penn State University
University Park, PA 16802
For information on other transportation/parking options at the University, visit http://www.transportation.psu.edu/.
You may also park downtown in one of the metered spaces throughout the downtown area or in one of the parking garages (located on the 100 block of Pugh Street and the 100 block of Frasier Street).
